Jamie: Welcome to Hedge Fund Huddle where industry leaders share their insights from the inside. Let's listen to a couple of snippets from previous episodes. Mithra Warrier at Citigroup: the relationship between a prime broker and a hedge fund has evolved from being a relationship to a partnership. Brian Jepsen at LSEG TORA: two thirds of managers felt that outsourcing their trading would improve access to liquidity, and over 60% found that it could improve execution quality. Chauwei Yak, CEO of GAO Capital: if you're in an investment role in hedge funds, it's very obvious if you're good or not. So there will be more, I think more and more women will come in just because they feel that they will be recognized. Jimmy Karalis at Balyasny Asset Management: machine learning has allowed us to analyse large data sets quickly, identify correlations that translate into an investment decision. Dan Eckstein, Barclays: I think it's really worth noting just how electrified the fixed income market has become over the last couple of years. Stewart Stimson at Jump Trading: you're seeing companies truly understanding that when they produce data, it's an asset and is sellable likely to someone. Jamie: Listen to Hedge Fund Huddle on Spotify, Apple, or wherever you get your podcasts.
